Abstract

Consumer protection communication has evolved from merely disseminating information into a strategic communication approach aimed at strengthening consumer sovereignty in the digital era. Using interpretative narrative review based on an extensive literature review. The findings demonstrate that consumer protection communication is no longer limited to resolving consumer complaints but functions as a multidimensional strategy for building trust, transparency, accountability, and collaboration among stakeholders. Digital transformation has fundamentally shifted consumers from passive recipients of protection into active participants who act as co-creators, prosumers, and market watchdogs through digital literacy, participation, and technological engagement.
