Household Income of Chayote Farmers in Fakfak Regency (Case: Utilizing and Not Utilizing the Sea Toll)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difference in household income of chayote farmers who utilize and do not utilize the Sea Toll program as a means of distribution. The results of the study showed that farmers who use the Sea Toll have a higher average production (2,260.95 kg/month) than non-users (1,404.44 kg/month). This difference has an impact on household income, where the average income of farmers using the Sea Toll reaches Rp. 16,619,048 per month, while non-users are only Rp11,244,444.44 per month. These findings confirm that the use of the Sea Toll contributes positively to increasing production, distribution efficiency, and household income of chayote farmers in Fakfak Regency
