Abstract

Defense readiness requires military organizations to build human resource resilience and adaptive organizational behavior in the face of strategic dynamics. This study analyzes the influence of human capital resilience and organizational military behavior on defense readiness. The study used an explanatory quantitative approach with a survey of 250 military personnel selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed with Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that human capital resilience has a significant positive effect on defense readiness, while organizational military behavior strengthens readiness through organizational discipline, coordination, and adaptability. Both variables simultaneously explain substantial variations in defensive readiness. The findings confirm the importance of integrating human capital development and military organizational behavior in defense strategy management.
